Whitney finds inspiration in interior design and travel and is happiest with a good book, cheering on college football, or spending time anywhere from the mountains to the beach.

Helping couples design such a monumental day in their lives gives Whitney a deep sense of purpose—there’s nothing quite as rewarding as watching every detail come together on the wedding day.
As a natural leader, Whitney loves bringing together the right team to execute each couple’s vision. She is confident in her direction, passionate about advocating for her clients’ best interests, and never one to make a promise she can’t keep.
While Whitney has over 30 years of experience as a luxury wedding planner, she still finds endless energy and inspiration in the fact that she gets to spend her days bringing dreams to life.
Who threw the most incredible parties. By the age of 10, Whitney could already be found reading Emily Post, setting tables, and arranging florals. She eventually went on to work in marketing for an inn, where she was responsible for booking weddings. As she grew closer to her clients, one asked if she would coordinate her wedding—and, of course, Whitney eagerly said yes! That opportunity grew into planning more than 50 weddings at the venue each year, ultimately giving her the experience and foundation to launch Whitney Bowman Events in 2000.

A Knoxville native and University of Tennessee graduate, Necole brings both creativity and an eye for detail to the planning process. She especially loves seeing the many moving pieces of an event come together and being part of the transformation from an initial vision into a celebration that feels effortless, cohesive, and true to each couple.
Outside of events, Necole loves staying active, spending time with family, and cheering on the Vols whenever she gets the chance. And while Tennessee will always be home, she has yet to meet a beach she doesn’t love.
For Necole, the magic is in seeing a vision become something tangible. She loves being part of the process that turns inspiration into an experience—one filled with thoughtful details, meaningful moments, and memories couples and their guests can carry with them long after the celebration ends.

Growing up around the event industry gave Mary Caroline an early appreciation for the thoughtful details behind a memorable celebration. Now studying marketing at the University of Tennessee, she brings her love of branding, social media, and creative storytelling to the Whitney Bowman Events team, capturing the moments and details that make each event distinctive.
A Knoxville native, Mary Caroline loves discovering new restaurants, spending time with friends and family, and needlepointing in her free time. When she isn’t behind the scenes sharing the stories of WBE celebrations, you can usually find her cheering on the Vols or escaping to the beach whenever she gets the chance.
